Using CapCut Guide
These terms cover capcutguide.com, an independent tutorial publication. They are not CapCut's software terms, and reading a guide does not give you a licence to CapCut, its music or its templates.
What our guides can tell you
A guide may draw on official documentation, interface checks or a test described in that article. We do not claim that every tutorial has been tested on the latest build of every platform. A publication date or an interface illustration is not proof of a hands-on test.
Menus and feature access can change with the version, platform, account or region. Check the controls and any payment prompt in your own editor before following a workflow. If a step no longer matches, use our contact page to report a correction. Include the article URL and the step concerned, but remove personal details from any example you share.
Quoting articles and reusing images
You may quote short excerpts of our original writing with attribution to CapCut Guide and a link to the article. This permission does not cover republishing a full article.
CapCut's interface, logos and third-party material shown in an image are not ours to license. An annotation or illustration does not transfer ownership of those underlying materials to us. Before reusing an image, check who owns the material you need and whether permission is required. The U.S. Copyright Office's permission guide explains why one work can contain material belonging to different rights holders. Applicable legal exceptions are not replaced by our excerpt permission.

CapCut Guide is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ByteDance or the CapCut team. CapCut and other product names belong to their respective trademark owners.
Links to an editor, app store or other service take you outside this publication. Check that service's terms, licence and payment details before uploading material or buying a plan. Our guide cannot grant access to a paid feature or settle a billing dispute with its provider.
Protecting your work
Before experimenting, keep a separately recoverable copy of the editable project and its source media. A duplicate inside an app is not enough if you later erase that app's data. Check the exported file and the rights to its contents before delivery or publication. Following a tutorial does not verify those things for your particular project.
